Ko Phuket, a mountainous rainforest covered island in the Andaman Sea, is home to some of Thailand's most popular beaches. When is the best time to visit Phuket?
Due to the constant high temperatures, Phuket is suitable as a year-round holiday destination. If you want to spend your holiday in paradise with little rain, most hours of sunshine and a pleasant humidity, the best time to visit Phuket is from November to April. During these months you can expect the best weather conditions. If you want to be even safer on the weather, you can travel to Phuket in December, January, February or March. November is the end of the rainy season, and April is the beginning of the rainy season. In these months the probability of rainfall and humidity is slightly higher than in the other months. Nevertheless, they are considered to be the best season for Phuket, as they have good overall scores. During the recommended travel time it rains on a maximum of 16 days (in November). In February there are only 3 rainy days a month. By way of comparison: In September, outside the best travel time, it rains on 23 days.
